Traveling to the Wedding
The Greenbrier is 4 hours from Washington DC, 3 hours from Richmond and 2 hours from Charleston by car. Air and train travel is avaialble through the Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB) and nearby cities. Transportation is avaialble two and from the airport and train station and can be arranged through the Greenbrier Conceierge (800-453-4858). The hotel offers free self-park parking for guests as well as valet parking for a $35 fee. For more information visit the directions page.
Accomodations
We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the Greenbrier for a special discounted rate of $295 per night for a standard guest room. Additionally accomodations including Junior Suites with available sleeper-sofa and guest cottages are available upon requests. What to Wear

The resort's grounds and many venues offer opportunities for different types of dress during your stay. The wedding will be business attire, jackets collared shirts and slacks for men, dresses for women. For additional details on what you should pack visit the plannng your visit guide.
Activities
The Greenbrier Hotel offers a wide array of services and activites that are available to all wedding guests whether they stay at the hotel or not. A list of daily activities will be printed and provided to each guest upon checking. Reservations are suggested for some of the resorts more popular activites including: spa, golf, shooting academy, offroad driving school and fishing or hiking tours. Our Favorite Restaurants
The Greenbrier Hotel offers many dining options for guests staying in the area. The Main Dining Room is open for breakfast and dinner every day. Formal dress is required for evening dining. Draper's Cafe is open everyday for lunch and offers a complete menu as well as ice cream. The ham and brie on a pretzel roll is a favorite of the bride and groom. Sam Snead's at the Golf Club offers a steakhouse atmosphere and is open daily for dinner. If you are looking for something more on the casual side the Rhododendron Cafe provides a light lunch by the indoor pool and Slammin' Sammy's at the Golf Club is open throughout the day and evening for pub food and drinks.

Nearby Attractions
Nestled in the Alleghany Mountains, Greenbrier County offers spectacular views and many other activtiies outside the resort. Downtown Lewisburg, WV offers many boutique, artisan and antique shopping. There are many additional outdoor activites including biking on the Greenbrier River Trail, visit Lost World Caverns or go hiking in Monongahela National Forest.
